Knowing how each fighter's dimensions look next to each other has always been a useful in deciding which fighter has a better chance of winning. A fighter with a shorter reach, for example, might have a more difficult time against a fighter who knows how to use a longer reach.

Averages can be useful to know how a fighter fits within a specific division. How does your favorite fighter fit within this average?
